Despite the difficulty of street parking and an old fashioned goods lift, the guys remained calm and professional and very helpful right through to the end (and even maintained their sense of humour). We couldn’t have been happier with Sydney City Removalists. No one enjoys moving, but Tom and Rob made it as pleasant as possible with their professionalism and friendly attitude. I have to admit I was shocked that they turned up at 7am on the dot, just as they promised they would – that’s rare. The price is very competitive and the speed with which the guys did the job made it cheaper still. They gave us lots of tips on how we could make the process easier in the future, and you could tell that they had years of experience. These guys are fantastic! I couldn’t believe how fast and efficient the whole process was. After checking out a number of different movers and after reading the reviews here I gave them a call, very polite and extremely helpful. Our move was a bit of a strange one as my wife and I were sharing a 4 bedroom house with my sister in law and her partner. They had no problem with moving half of the stuff to one 2 bedroom unit and the rest to another on the other side of Sydney… both on the top floor! Nothing was a problem for these guys! They arrived on time (7am) and where finished both moves by 5:30pm, I wouldn’t of believed it could be done that fast unless I’d seen it myself. I would just like to say that this was by far the easiest move I’ve had since I’ve been in Sydney ( I’ve had 4 ) The 2 guys who did the move Tom & Josh ( I think ! ) were excellent. They were courteous , polite and efficient. The whole move only took 2 and a half hours which was excellent. Thanks Sydney City Removalists for relocating us from Sydney to Newcastle. We had accumulated many years of ‘stuff’ in our old house, which was quite large, including many outdoor pots and equipment, to be moved into a much smaller property. You packed it all into a truck and a van, your team worked bloody fast, were very friendly and helpful, and we did not have a single problem or breakage. Even though we were moving from the Central Coast back down to Sydney the guys turned up right on time at 8am after driving up from Sydney. It was a pretty hard move with alot of boxes and stairs at one end but they were friendly and efficient and worked hard all day until the job was finally done at 5.30. The two guys (Tom and Rob) were very experienced, and, most importantly, they were careful with our belongings and everything arrived at the destination undamaged. Thanks for your hard work fellas.
