Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park is a national park on the northern side of Sydney in New South Wales, Australia. The 14,977-hectare (37,010-acre) park is 25 kilometres (16 mi) north of the Sydney central business district and generally comprises the land east of the M1 Pacific Motorway, south of the Hawkesbury River, west of Pittwater and north of Mona Vale Road. It includes Barrenjoey Headland on the eastern side of Pittwater.
Ku-ring-gai Chase is a popular tourist destination, known for its scenic setting on the Hawkesbury River and Pittwater, significant plant and animal communities, Aboriginal sites and European historic places. Picnic, boating, and fishing facilities can be found throughout the park. There are many walking tracks in Ku-ring-gai Chase. The villages of Cottage Point, Appletree Bay, Elvina Bay, Lovett Bay, Coasters Retreat, Great Mackerel Beach and Bobbin Head are located within the park boundaries.
The park was declared in 1894, and is the third oldest national park in Australia. The park is managed by the NSW National Parks & Wildlife Service and was added to the Australian National Heritage List in December 2006.
The park gets its name from the Guringai Aboriginal people who were long thought to be the traditional owners of the area. However, more contemporary research suggests that this was not the case.

For a girl moving on her own, it was quite a tough jo; but thanks to the team it was made easy. They were so helpful and had such a great attitude. They followed me to three different locations to pick up my furniture and were patient and gracious when dealing with all of the difficulties we incurred along the way. So not only were they friendly, helpful and willing, the guys were also punctual and efficient. And as an added bonus I found them to be one of the most competitive price in the market. I knew this was a very professional company from the moment Amber returned my phone call. She was extremely helpful from the start. At the time I had two other companies chasing my business. The only reason I decided to go with SCR is because of Amber’s helpfulness and professionalism. She didn’t harass me but didn’t leave it too long before touching base. The perfect Saleswoman!!! I only prayed that the removalists were just as professional. C.J. and Nick more than exceeded my expectations. They were brilliant! They were polite, professional and down to earth. No request was too difficult for them. Good old-fashioned customer service that you just don’t see these days. On top of that they were genuinely nice guys! I had read the testimonials and thought “what a load of garbage! This company couldn’t be that good. I bet they get their friends to write the testimonials”.
